Α few words for our company

Welcome to Trigkatzi Bros. GP. We are a versatile family business, situated in Athens, with a long history in fastener manufacturing (1981-2004) and importing (2004-today). Our rich deposit originates from the company’s founder George Trigkatzis helping us apply all this experience in our current activities as an importing and distributing agent.

We have a permanent stock in the standard fasteners that we trade but we also supply the greek market with special fasteners making use of our broad experience.

We believe that the supply chain is as strong as it’s weakest link and that is why we strive for it’s sturdiness, carefully selecting our business associates both domestically and abroad. Our basic principle in that selection is that “if you care for your work, you’ll do it right the first time”.

Από μικρός περνούσα τα καλοκαίρια στη βιδοποιΐα του πατέρα μου του Μαστρο-Γιώργου, παρακολουθώντας πρέσες, αποκοπτικές και λαμινέζες να κρατούν το τέμπο καθώς παρήγαγαν χιλιάδες κομμάτια βίδες.

Αυτή η εμπειρία μαζί με τις τακτικές επισκέψεις στις συρματουργίες, στα γαλβανιστήρια και στους υπόλοιπους συνεργάτες, συμπλήρωναν σιγά-σιγά στα μάτια μου την διαδικασία δημιουργίας της Βίδας..

Μεγαλώνοντας συνόδευα τον Μάστορα στις επισκέψεις του στις κλαδικές εκθέσεις του εσωτερικού και του εξωτερικού. Έτσι, άρχισα να γνωρίζω από κοντά και τον μαγικό κόσμο της καινοτομίας, της τεχνικής εξέλιξης, του εγχωρίου και διεθνούς εμπορίου.

Όταν ήρθε η ώρα ο αδελφός μου και εγώ να αναλάβουμε την επιχείρηση, ήμασταν πλέον άρτια καταρτισμένοι και σε όλα έτοιμοι να προσεγγίσουμε το θέμα Βίδα από όλες τις πλευρές του: τεχνικά και εμπειρικά, αισθητικά και γνωσιακά.

Συνεχίζουμε προς το αύριο, πάντα διψασμένοι για γνώση και πάντα με τον αρχικό ενθουσιασμό.

Quality Control

I was always fond of small details. It's therefore no surprise, that from early on, I focused on the quality of my work.

When I was much younger, I remember the machines in my father's fastener factory and the noise they used to make. Back then I used to walk between work stations, sometimes filling and sometimes unblocking the machines. Since then, a lot has changed.

In 2008 I finished with my studies in the N.T.U.A. and entered our family business, just in time to experience the American (and later Greek) economic crisis in all its' glory. Now I consider this a challenge: The experience from working in an unpredictable and competitive environment is completely different from that in a smooth one.

During this period I was actively involved with the improvement of the company procedures, so as to strengthen our logistics management from both sides. That of our customers as well as that of our suppliers. Our role is to enable the uninterrupted communication of the needs of our customers to our suppliers and you can only do that when you know your area of expertise.

And my greatest and most eager teachers in that, have been our business acquaintances.
